Superfan Michael V. admits he cried while watching 'Voltes V: Legacy: The Cinematic Experience'
Celebrities volted in for the advance screening of "Voltes V: Legacy: The Cinematic Experience" and had nothing but praises for the upcoming live action series.
As seen on Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, Andrea Torres, Dingdong Dantes, and Michael V. expressed their awe after viewing the film.
"Nasisimula pa lang, napaiyak na 'ko... 'yung actual volt-in sequence, 'di ko na napigilan. Bumigay na 'ko," Michael V. said.
"Grabe! I mean, alam ko namang maganda pero 'di 'ko in-expect ganun kabongga!" Andrea Torres said.
Dingdong, meanwhile, said he was happy to see the anime he watched as a child be brought to life on the big screen.
"Growing up, 'yun talaga kinalakihan ko sa TV. Sobrang tuwa 'ko," said the Kapuso Primetime King.
The upcoming series stars Miguel Tan Felix, Ysabel Ortega, Radson Flores, Raphael Landicho, and Matt Lozano.
The cast became emotional at the premiere of the much-anticipated project.
"Napakagaling ng pagkagawa nila, not just the staff and crew and actors, but also 'yung mga gumawa ng special effects na mga Pilipinong Pilipino so this is something to be really proud of," said Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group and President of GMA Films.
Joey Abacan, GMA Network Inc. First Vice President for Program Management, said, "This a dream come true for GMA so I’d like to congratulate everyone whose involved with 'Voltes V,' this is gonna be a hit and I am sure that all of the people are gonna be watching it will really be very proud of us Filipinos."
The previously released trailer showed a peek at the cinematic experience, which will exclusively be shown in SM Cinemas from April 19 to 25.
"Voltes V: Legacy" will air in May.
