According to Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, the film will also have screenings abroad.
Directed by Louie Ignacio, the film also stars Gabby Eigenmann, Miles Ocampo, Liza Diño, and Erin Rose Espiritu.
"Ang tema ng pelikula is about a father and a daughter. Sa pelikula na 'to, malaking impluwensya at inspirasyon si tatay sa akin, si Kuya Germs, kasi for a long time siya naging tatay ko e," Ken said.
In addition to Ken's showbiz dad Kuya Germs, the Sparkle actor said that his biological dad was an inspiration when he was creating the character.
Ken's celebrity friends, Bianca Umali and Ruru Madrid, showed up to support him during the premiere.
Others who attended the event include Kyline Alcantara, Mavy Legaspi, Mark Bautista, Jeric Gonzales, and Rabiya Mateo.
"My kendi, my best friend, congratulations! I'm very proud of you. Alam mo naman na isa ko sa mga nangunguna para ipaglaban at sumisigaw para sa 'yo sa gilid. Mahal na mahal kita," Bianca said.
"Personally, sobrang fan ako ng trabaho mo, ng pagkatao mo kaya mahal ka namin," Ruru added.
Ken and Bianca previously starred in "Mano Po Legacy: Her Big Boss" together and it was recently revealed that they did 32 takes of one scene.
