Vic Sotto, Maja Salvador, Jose Manalo to star in new sitcom 'Open 24/7'

Vic Sotto, Maja Salvador, and Jose Manalo will star in an upcoming sitcom called "Open 24/7."

As seen on Cata Tibayan's Tuesday report on "24 Oras," the three stars showed off their natural chemistry at a pictorial.

"Hindi lang siya puro patawa kumbaga dapat may laman na na galing sa puso storya na tatalakay makakarelate ang mga tao," said Vic about the show.

Vic also talked about co-star Maja.

"Si Maja, ganda ng personalidad niya. She is very sweet. Tapos nagkasama kami sa 'Eat Bulaga,' matagal-tagal din dun so iyong vibes andun na kahit first time ko siya makakasama sa sitcom and Maja as an actress," said Vic.

Maja had similar positive sentiments about Vic.

"Dream 'ko talaga na makatrabaho si Bossing 'di man sa pelikula pero at least sa sitcom niya," said Maja.

On the show, Maja is set to play a funny and very "kikay" character named Mikaela.

"Ito na pinakamaarteng role na gagawin ko—ngayon pa lang, pagod na 'ko, ganun. Pero exciting, for me, parang 'yung iba, subtle 'yung pagkaarte niya, eto, matindi," she said.

"Kita mo, kumpleto ako sa lahat—todo kulot meron pang headband tapos ang daming abubot pero exciting kasi kailangan ko ng maraming energy," she added.

Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay will also join them on the sitcom.

Meanwhile, Vic talked about the possibility of daughter Tali as a guest star on the show.

"Anything is possible. Si Tali naman kasama namin sa taping sa 'Eat Bulaga,' and she is very much interested, pero s'yempre hindi namin itutulak sa showbiz kung gusto lang niya mas importante ang pag-aaral," he said.

Sparkle Gen Z artists, Bruce Roeland, Kimson Tan, Anjay Anson, Abed Green, and Muriel Lomadilla will round out the cast.

Vic recently went to Disneyland Hong Kong with wife Pauleen Luna and daughter Tali.

Meanwhile, Maja temporarily left "Eat Bulaga" to prepare for her wedding. She recently kicked off the celebrations with a bachelorette party.
