Maja Salvador announces temporary departure from 'Eat Bulaga'

Maja Salvador is leaving "Eat Bulaga" for the time being.

According to a statement by Crown Artist Management, this is due to her "upcoming wedding and with all the uncertainties surrounding 'Eat Bulaga.'"

They added that becoming part of the Dabarkads was "a dream of Maja that came true one and a half years ago.”

“But for now, we have to give it a pause," the statement said, adding that the management of the noontime show has already been informed.

“Maja wishes Eat Bulaga, its hosts and staff, all the best! Maraming salamat, Dabarkads!” the statement said.

Maja and her fiancé Rambo Nuñez are set to tie the knot this July.

She was launched as an "Eat Bulaga" host in 2021 but has been a fan of the show since childhood.
