Zephanie admits to sometimes wishing she could go to school and be a 'normal' teenager

Zephanie opened up about working as a young singer in the showbiz industry.

On "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Thursday, she admitted to having wondered many times if being in the public eye is worth it.

"Kahit recently po, nararamdaman ko 'yun kasi very challenging po talaga 'yung industriya na 'to e," Zephanie said.

"Siguro po sa mga panahon na 'yun, 'yung talagang gusto ko na pong sabihin sa mommy ko na 'Parang, Mommy, gusto ko na lang pumasok sa school, maging normal na teenager,'" she continued.

But such moments don't last long as she overcomes them with love, she said.

"'Yung love po and 'yung thinking po na para sa family ko and for my future din po," Zephanie said.

Tito Boy said, "I like that. It's all about love. We are where we are because we love what we do."

Zephanie, now 20 years old, added that her dreams are as much for her family as they are for herself, "and sa mga tao naniniwala sa 'kin at talagang nagsuporta po at nagmahal sa akin."

Tito Boy also asked Zephanie if he were to bring out a mirror, what would she say to herself.

"I am proud of you," she said.

"That's a strong line," Tito Boy  said, adding, "You have to be able to say that."

During the interview, the New Gen Pop Princess also shared her top 3 tips for young aspiring singers who want to join singing competitions.

She also revealed who Michael Sager is in her life.

Zephanie can usually be seen on "All-Out Sundays" on GMA. She also has an upcoming movie that her fans can also look forward to seeing soon. — Kimberly Tsao/LA, GMA Integrated News
