Gladys Reyes lauds Barbie Forteza's acting skills: 'Bilib na bilib ako sa batang 'yan'

Gladys Reyes is a living testament to how good of an actress Barbie Forteza is.

On Monday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the veteran actress detailed her expertise in “kontrabida” roles, including dealing with physical actions such as slapping, pulling of hair, and more.

According to Gladys, she prefers it better to make physical scenes as realistic as possible rather than faking them.

“Mas maganda ‘pag hindi nandadaya ‘yung mga sakitan namin,” Gladys told Boy. “Kasi dun mo maka-capture ‘yung totoong reaksyon.”

“I worked with Barbie Forteza — bilib na bilib ako sa batang ‘yan, kasi ‘yung talagang sinasaktan ko siya, totoo [‘yun],” she added.

Gladys also said it helps to have a pep talk with your co-actor about an upcoming scene that involves physical actions.

“Kakausapin mo ‘yung supposedly na sasaktan mo sa eksena, para malaman mo kung game ba siya,” she said.
