GMA Network features special programming schedule for Holy Week 2023

In observance of the Holy Week, GMA Network presents its special programming schedule this Maundy Thursday (April 6), Good Friday (April 7), and Black Saturday (April 8).

Maundy Thursday opens with the biographical religious drama "Magdalena" at 6:30 am.

It will be followed by "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 2023 April General Conference" at 8:00 am.

Kids will surely look forward to a fun and adventure-filled morning with back-to-back fantasy films "Dugo ng Panday" at 9:00 am, and "Magikland" at 10:30 am.

Lunch and laughter will be served by Comedy Concert Queen Aiai delas Alas with the comedy film "Our Mighty Yaya" at 12:00nn.

The Hollywood classic featuring the greatest stories of the Old Testament, "The Bible," will air at 2:00 pm.

CBN Asia is set to offer its Holy Week special "Tanikala: Senior Moment" at 5:00 pm.

Afterwards, tune in to GMA's flagship newscast "24 Oras" at 6:00 pm. This will be followed by a marathon of Filipino films, including "Just The Way You Are" at 6:30 pm; "Finally Found Someone" at 8:30 pm; and "Imagine You and Me" at 10:30 pm.

Welcome Good Friday (April 7) with the internationally-acclaimed religious program "Power to Unite" hosted by Ms. Elvira Yap-Go at 6:00 am. It will be followed by "Jesus" at 6:30 am.

Hear inspiring messages of hope and renewal from living prophets and apostles with "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 2023 April General Conference" at 8:00 am.

Recall Jesus' seven last words from the Sto. Domingo Church via "Siete Palabras" starting at 12:00nn. This will be followed by "The Bible" at 3:00 pm, and CBN Asia's "Tanikala: Kampihan" at 5:00 pm.

Catch the latest news via "24 Oras" at 6:00 pm. This will be followed by the airing of the Hollywood classic featuring the retelling of the Biblical story of Moses in "The Ten Commandments" at 6:30 pm.

Cap off the night with the romantic film "How to Be Yours" at 10:30 pm.
On April 8, Black Saturday begins with "The Story of Jesus for Children" at 6:30 am. It will be followed by "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 2023 April General Conference" at 8:00 am.

Meanwhile, fall in love with the romance movie "Because I Love You" starring Sparkle artists David Licauco and Shaira Diaz at 12:00nn.

At 2:00 pm, get to know more about the teachings and personalities of the Christian scriptures in "The Bible."

Don't miss "24 Oras Weekend" at 6:00 pm followed by the Philippine Free TV Premiere of a heart-warming story about the relationship between a 6-year-old girl and her mentally-challenged father in the Filipino adaptation of "Miracle in Cell No. 7" at 6:30 pm.

Finally, multi-awarded Kapuso comedian and content creator Michael V's directorial debut film 'Family History' will air at 8:30 pm, followed by the family comedy-drama "Three Words to Forever" at 10:30 pm.
