Kylie Verzosa says she and American action star Steven Seagal 'remain very good friends'

What's the sitch between Kylie Verzosa and American action star Steven Seagal?

On "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Wednesday, Kylie recounted how they first met at the Distinctive International Arab Festivals Awards (DIAFA) in Dubai in November 2022, when she won an award for her film, "The Housemaid" . 

"I felt bad kasi 'yung katabi ko, tinanong siya — and that's Steve Seagal — 'Hi. What's your name? Where are you from?' so nagpakilala na ako. Sabi ko, 'Hi SIr Steven. I'm Kylie from the Philippines,'" said Kylie.

They kept talking that evening. "'Tas, he invited me the next day to have coffee," she said.

"We remain in contact. Siya 'yung tumatawag but we're very good friends," she confirmed.

"Siguro mas type siguro ng dad ko or something," she said, indicating the veteran actor's popularity as an action star in the '80s and '90s.

When Boy asked about some "Baby" talk, Kylie took the opportunity to promote her movie "Baby Boy Baby Girl" with Marco Gumabao, whom she later confirmed to have dated in the past.  

Sharp as cheese, the King of Talk asked if Steven will watch it. "I hope he watches. Sana excited siya!"Kylie replied.
