Camille Prats says childhood role Princess Sarah served as her ‘guide’ during her teens
We’ve all had role models growing up and for Camille Prats, it’s her childhood role Princess Sarah.
On Tuesday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Camille was asked if there came a point in her life when she turned rebellious.
Yes, she admitted but “hindi naman sobra.”
While she saw things that teens her age used to do back then, the “Arabella” actress said she kept her role Princess Sarah’s character in mind over the years.
“Growing up known as Princess Sarah na talagang mabait na bata, the perfect child na hindi nagkakamali, hindi nagsusungit, hindi nagmamaldita, I felt like that served as my guide to keep me in line na ‘Hanggang dito ka lang,’” she said.
According to her, the funniest thing she did was to pierce her navel.
“Galit na galit [yung parents ko],” she said. “Pinagkukurot ako ng nanay ko ta’s ‘yon yung exact words niya: ‘Rebelde ka na.’”
Camille entered showbiz through “Ang TV” when she was just seven years old. She played “Sarah, Ang Munting Prinsesa” two years later, in 1995.
Though many years have passed, it looks like Camille still has Princess Sarah in her heart. Proof is she even dressed her daughter Nala as the character on her first birthday. — Franchesca Viernes/LA, GMA Integrated News
