Ruru Madrid confirms he was previously in a relationship with Gabbi Garcia

Ruru Madrid and Gabbi Garcia were not just former on-screen partners—they were apparently also together off-screen.

On Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the Kapuso Action-Drama Prince said Gabbi was his only girlfriend before dating Bianca Umali.

"Nung naging kami, sobrang bata pa po namin. Gabbi's 15. Ako po, 16," he said.

"And then, siguro, somehow, malaking factor na magkatrabaho po kami, love team kami, kailangan laging kami makita na sweet sa isa't isa so siguro, dun, dun namin na-discover na in love kami," he continued.

Ruru and Gabbi starred together in "Encantadia," "My Destiny," "Let The Love Begin," and "Sherlock Jr."

"Kumbaga, nadala kami sa moment. Siguro, somehow, ako rin, personally, hindi pa rin po ako—hindi ganun kalawak 'yung kaalaman ko when it comes to love," Ruru said.

He said, however, that Bianca is not the reason why they broke up. He also added that he had nothing to do with Bianca's breakup with Miguel Tanfelix.

Meanwhile, Gabbi is now dating Khalil Ramos.

Ruru can next be seen on "The Write One," his first project with Bianca.

"The Write One" will premiere on March 20 on GMA Telebabad and on March 18 on Viu.
