Chanty of Lapillus named Fearless Global Filipino at the Big Bold Brave Awards

Chanty Videla of K-Pop girl group Lapillus was named Fearless Global Filipino at the Big Bold Brave Awards!

The Fearless Global Filipino trophy is one of the six recognitions given under the Brave category of NYLON Manila's Big Bold Brave Awards.

Apart from Chanty, other Brave awardees include Maine Mendoza (Fearless Internet Clapback), Sassa Gurl (Fearless Social Media Star), Manila Luzon (Inspiring Personality), Main Pop Girls Stanposting (Fearless Pop Culture Space), and Konsulta MD (Fearless Social Media Account).

“These multifaceted voices remind us all to take courage and take up space whenever, wherever,” the magazine said.

Chanty beat Chai Fonacier, Bretman Rock, Bryanboy, and EJ Obiena to take home the Fearless Global Filipino recognition.

The Sparkle star and K-Pop idol was in the Philippines last year with Lapillus.

They performed on “Eat Bulaga!” “All Out Sundays,” and had a series of fan meetings and other promotional activities.

Also composed of Shana, Yue, Bessie, Seowon, and Haeun, Lapillus made their debut in June under MLD Entertainment with the song “Hit Ya!”
