'Hearts on Ice' starring Ashley Ortega, Xian Lim to premiere on March 13

"Hearts on Ice" will be making its premiere on March 13!

On Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," Xian Lim said that the figure skating series will air on GMA Telebabad after "Mga Lihim ni Urduja."

Xian also shared some details about the story and the roles he and co-star Ashley Ortega will play in the series.

Ashley is a figure skater who dreams of becoming the best in the world, while Xian is the owner of the mall where the skating rink is located.

The two of them met at the rink when they were children, but they would not see each other for many years, as Xian's character went off to the States.

Xian trained hard to learn figure skating to prepare for the series. He bought his own skates and passed a skating proficiency test. 

"Hearts on Ice" also stars Lito Pimentel, Ina Feleo, Cheska Inigo, Kim Perez, Roxie Smith, Ruiz Gomez, Skye Chua, Antonette Garcia, Rita Avila, Tonton Gutierrez, Amy Austria, and more.

Olympic figure skater Michael Martinez will also appear in the series, which will be directed by Dominic Zapata.
