'Mga Lihim ni Urduja' trends as pilot episode wows with action scenes, girl power

"Mga Lihim ni Urduja" wowed viewers right in the very first episode as fans raved about its action scenes and powerful female characters.

The hashtag #MgaLihimNiUrduja was the top trending spot on Philippine Twitter on Monday evening as viewers tuned in to the series' pilot.

Fans loved seeing Sanya Lopez and Rochelle Pangilinan beat up enemies as Hara Urduja and Dayang Salaknib.

Kylie Padilla got comparisons to "My Name" star Han So Hee with her character Gem, a policewoman, while Gabbi Garcia's bubbly character Crystal entertained viewers.

Even the villains got some love, especially Michelle Dee as Freya and Arra San Agustin as Valencia.

"Mga Lihim ni Urduja" airs weekdays on GMA Telebabad at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." It is also livestreamed on GMANetwork.com/KapusoStream.
