'Mga Lihim ni Urduja' set to premiere on February 27

"Mga Lihim ni Urduja" will finally make its premiere on GMA Telebabad on February 27!

According to Cata Tibayan's report on "24 Oras," Monday, the series is based on the legend of warrior queen Urduja from Pangasinan from the 1300s.

The protagonists are on a quest to find Urduja's missing jewels as enemy bounty hunters try to stop them.

Gabbi Garcia plays a jewelry designer named Crystal while Kylie Padilla is a police lieutenant named Gem. Sanya Lopez plays Urduja.

Gina Pareño is also a part of the cast as Crystal's grandmother, and Gabbi  said she enjoyed working with her.

"Ang sarap katrabaho ni Tita Gina 'cause she's open. She's still very open. She's very rockstar," said Gabbi.

For her upcoming role, Kylie previously showed off some of her fighting skills in a teaser on social media.

Sanya also offered this message to her fans: "Abangan ninyo ang pagbabalik ko sa action dahil marami ang nakamiss niyan. Hinahanda ko 'yung sarili ko physically, emotionally, and spiritually, of course,"

Also joining them on the show are Vin Abrenica, Michelle Dee, Arra San Agustin, Kristoffer Martin, and Pancho Magno, who will play antagonist roles.
