Nora Aunor reveals three 'himala' in her life: 'Namatay na ako ng three minutes'
Nora Aunor is best known for her award-winning performance in the 1983 critically acclaimed film "Himala."
In Monday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the veteran actress shared three life-changing miracles or "himala" in her life.
The first was a car accident she survived while filming "Himala." Her colleagues thought she died, but she miraculously escaped with her life.
"Wala akong naramdamang sakit.
The second miracle was when recovered from her losing her voice through an operation.
"Tatlong araw po akong [walang boses noon]. Pag gising ko, sigaw ako ng sigaw, wala ako marinig na boses sa 'kin," she said.
"Salita ako ng salita, tanong ako ng tanong, bakit wala akong boses?" she added.
During that moment, Nora admitted that she got scared for her life because her voice was the biggest investment in her career.
"'Yun lang 'yung inaasahan ng mga tao, na makakakanta ako," she said.
Lastly, Nora said that the third miracle had just happened recently, as her health has not been the best lately.
"Namatay na ako ng three minutes," she said.
Nora said she told the hospital staff that she only needs oxygen.
After three minutes of unconsciousness, Nora said she was miraculously brought back to life, and her friends told her that she was fortunate for it.
Siguro 'yung misyon mo hindi pa tapos," she said.
Aside from the miracles in her life, Nora also talked about her past relationship with Tirso Cruz III.
Nora is set to star in a film with Alfred Vargas, marking her big-screen comeback.
