Big OPM acts will share the stage in fundraising gig for Parokya Ni Edgar’s Gab Chee Kee

Some of OPM’s top acts are coming together for a fundraising gig for the medical expenses of Parokya Ni Edgar’s Gab Chee Kee.

Ebe Dancel, The Itchyworms, Gracenote, Rivermaya, and 6cyclemind be performing for a concert called Resbak Para Kay Gab.

It will be held on March 4, 2023 at 123 Block, Mandala Park, Shaw Blvd., Mandaluyong City. Gates open at 4 p.m.

All tickets are priced at P1,500 at the standing-only venue. Tickets are available here.

Ever since Parokya Ni Edgar vocalist Chito Miranda revealed that Gab was hospitalized due to pneumonia, a complication brought on by his lymphoma, their friends in the industry have been holding various fundraising initiatives to help with Gab's hospital bills.

There was Typecast who auctioned a signed D&D acoustic guitar for P50,000. There was also the Eraserheads-signed guitar that sold for P1.3 million.

Chito himself has been selling some old Parokya ni Edgar memorabilia to help Gab.

This week, the band said that Gab is still in the ICU but is “steadily improving.”
