Are Barbie Forteza and David Licauco getting a new teleserye?

“Maria Clara at Ibarra” is nearing its end, and fans are eagerly waiting to see Fidel and Klay’s fate. But even after the series, are we still gonna see David Licauco and Barbie Forteza as a love team?

In his interview on “Updated with Nelson Canlas,” the Pambansang Ginoo was asked about his future projects.

Aside from his film with Shaira Diaz “Without You,” premiering on February 15, David teased, “I think I have a movie with Barbie Forteza.”

On top of that, it looks like David and Barbie will continue working together.

“I heard din na magkakaroon ulit kami ng teleserye ni Barbie,” David added.

However, David reminded everyone, “I heard lang ah, wala pang sigurado.”

Regardless, the actor hopes to work with Barbie again, saying he has “nothing but respect” for her, and that it was such a pleasure working with her.

“Her love and passion for acting is super contagious,” he said. “Like she comes on set on time, like every time na nasa scene kami talagang memorize na agad niya yung mga linya. Tapos alam talaga niya yung mga nuances and like she just reacts to whatever emotion that I throw at her.”

“And I hope na baka sana siya ulit maging loveteam ko sa next soap,” he added.
