Vin Abrenica, Michelle Dee, Arra San Agustin and more on their kontrabida roles in 'Mga Lihim ni Urduja'
Michelle Dee, Vin Abrenica, and Arra San Agustin are among the villain characters in "Mga Lihim ni Urduja."
In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, the three actors talked about their roles in the upcoming action-packed fantasy mega-series.
Michelle said uses her martial arts skills in her role of a master of combat and assassin.
"We are really not the stereotypical kontrabidas. I feel like some audiences will like us, will love us, and you'll get to know each character as a very distinct individual," she said.
Vin, meanwhile, said his character is so hungry for power.
"As in, kapag nag-set siya ng mind nya, kahit anuman bumangga, even mga ka-close friends nya, even part of the bounty hunters, wala na siyang pakialam," he said. "Kapag gusto niya, gagawin niya."
Arra, meanwhile, said it's her first time playing a kontrabida.
"Ngayon ko lang na-explore 'yung ganitong pag-uugali, 'yung ganitong personality," she said.
In "Mga Lihim ni Urduja," a group of good-hearted characters are on a quest to find legendary warrior Urduja's missing jewels as enemy bounty hunters try to stop them.
Other bounty hunters are Kristoffer Martin and Pancho Magno, who said he is playing someone who is "ex-military na brute force."
The adventure series will also slowly unravel the mystery of Urduja's life.
Meanwhile, Gabbi Garcia, Kylie Padilla, and Jeric Gonzales will star as the characters who are protecting Urduja's jewels. Sanya Lopez plays the title character of Urduja.
"Mga Lihim ni Urduja" is scheduled to air this February on GMA Telebabad.
