Basilio's girlfriend, Juli, finally appears in 'Maria Clara at Ibarra'

Pauline Mendoza's Juli has finally appeared in "Maria Clara at Ibarra!"

On Friday's episode, Basilio visits Kabesang Tales's home in Tiani and reunites with his girlfriend, Juli.

Their meeting is bittersweet, however, as Juli is about to head to Hermana Penchang's place to become a servant.

Juli offered her services to raise enough money to ransom her father, Kabesang Tales, who was captured by outlaws.

With Juli's appearance, the four young lovers in "El Filibusterismo" have all made their debut in the series.

Played by Khalil Ramos, Basilio made his debut two episodes earlier together with his friend Isagani, who is portrayed by Kim De Leon.

The two met Isagani's girlfriend, Paulita Gomez, who is played by Julia Pascual.

"Maria Clara at Ibarra" airs on weekdays GMA Telebabad after "24 Oras." Episodes are also livestreamed at GMANetwork.com/KapusoStream and full episodes are available at the GMA Network website.
