Allen Ansay tells Sofia Pablo: 'Padaba taka'
Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay just made everyone in kilig on Wednesday's "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda!"
Tito Boy kept asking Allen if he has already told Sofia "I love you," but the Kapuso actor kept his demurring in his answers.
At the end of the interview however, Tito Boy handed him a bouquet and asked him what he would tell Sofia if he were to give it to her.
"Padaba taka," he said, which means "I love you" in the Bicolano language.
That drew a chorus of "awww..." from the audience. Even at the start of the interview, Tito Boy said, "Bagay kayo."
Asked about their relationship status, the two said they are "special friends."
Allen and Sofia went on to share more about their friendship. In fact, even before Allen was in the showbiz industry, he had a crush on her.
Allen said, "Di pa ako artista, Tito Boy. 'Di ba sa Bicol, talaga uso 'yung manood ng TV? Tapos napapanood ko nun si Sofi sa 'Sherlock Jr.'"
At the time, Allen said, "Magkikita din kami ni Sofi."
Later on, that little fun fact eventually came to light when they met.
Sofia said, "Inamin niya po. Nung mga once na po after namin nag-usap, sabi niya napapanood nya ako sa 'Sherlock Jr.'"
Over the course of knowing each other, Sofia also revealed that love letters were the most meaningful gift that Allen gave her that made her feel special.
In turn, Sofia threw Allen birthday surprises with his family.
Asked who would be his girlfriend if it was the end of the world, Allen admitted it would be Sofia.
"I look forward to your wedding! Joke!" Tito Boy said.
Allen and Sofia are currently starring in "Luv is: Caught in His Arms," which airs on weeknights at 8:50 p.m. on GMA Telebabad.
The series had over 50 million views across all platforms in its first week.
