Juancho Triviño proud of how 'Maria Clara at Ibarra' bridges culture and society
Juancho Triviño received an award at the Gawad Lasallianeta in behalf of his “Maria Clara at Ibarra” family.
At the ceremony organized by De La Salle Araneta University, the historical drama won Most Outstanding Teleserye.
Juancho shared an Instagram Reel of the awarding. On stage, he greeted guests with “buenos dias.”
In the caption of his post, Juancho said, “I just want to reiterate here how proud I am to be a part of this show. It started with a vision by our wonderful creatives and our bosses, which we also shared and then executed."
“[Bridging] culture and society with entertainment is an achievement that I never thought I wanted but apparently fulfilled me to the core and [I’m] glad to be a part of it," he added.
Ahead of the awards ceremony, the series also received the 5th Gawad Lasallianeta Green Zeal Awardee for Excellence In Bridging Boundaries through Culture and Arts. This is given to "outstanding organizations, companies, and groups that are able to promote certain advocacies effectively,” according to the awards’ Facebook page.
“Maria Clara at Ibarra” continues to receive various awards, including a special citation from the Knights of Rizal.
For his role as Padre Salvi, Juancho also received his first acting award.
