Here's a closer look at Barbie Forteza's new look for Klay in 'Maria Clara at Ibarra'

"Maria Clara at Ibarra” is getting more and more thrilling, and the characters’ looks are no exception.

Following Dennis Trillo’s strong transformation from Crisostomo Ibarra to Simoun, Barbie Forteza’s Klay is now also donning a new style.

As compared to her beige baro’t saya from the first part of the historical drama, Klay's new outfit consists of a pink blouse with lace and a black and magenta skirt with floral embroideries. She is also carrying a traditional Filipino woven rattan bag.

“Maria Clara at Ibarra” has now transitioned into “El Filibusterismo,” the sequel to Jose Rizal’s novel “Noli Me Tangere.”
