Bea Alonzo 'hurt and upset' over land-grabbing issue: 'Hindi ako magnanakaw'

Bea Alonzo said she was "hurt and upset" over the recent land-grabbing issue hurled towards her online.

In a recent vlog, Bea invited some of her Aeta neighbors for a simple meal in their Zambales farm. This led one netizen to react, saying "how about giving their land back."

Bea straight up said in Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" that she did not steal any land from the Aetas.

"You can call me a lot of things but hindi ako magnanakaw at hinding-hindi ko gagawin 'yon sa mga kapitbahay kong Aetas because I truly care about them," she said.

"Binili namin 'yung property na 'yon 11 years ago, pinagtrabahuan ko 'yon, binigay ko 'yon sa nanay ko. Ilang tapings ang iniyakan ko para lang makapag-patayo ako ng ganyan."

Bea said the accusation was heavy and "different." As such, she addressed it right away through her lawyer, Atty. Joey V. Garcia.

According to a PEP.ph report, Bea's lawyer issued the following statement: "She and her family are the absolute and registered owners of the parcels of land in Zambales, acquired through legal and valid means."

Bea's Beati Firma farm in Zambales measures 16 hectares. As seen on her YouTube vlogs, she would spend some time there with her family.
