Kakai Bautista reveals she's the singer of 'Maynila' theme song, shares fresh version

Kakai Bautista surprised netizens when she revealed that she was the voice behind the theme song of the GMA series "Maynila."

On TikTok Wednesday, Kakai took a shot at singing the song again after more than 20 years, and her voice is as crystal clear as ever, making netizens feel nostalgic in the comment section.

“Grabe Ms. [Kakai Bautista], wala pa ring kupas! Naging part ka na halos ng mga childhood days namin. Way to go!" a TikTok user said.

"Binuhay mo' yung childhood memory ko," another user added.

As of writing, Kakai's Tiktok has already garnered over 2.5 million views and more than 323,000 reactions.
