Gabbi Garcia, Joshua Garcia excited to work together for the first time in 'Unbreak My Heart'

Gabbi Garcia and Joshua Garcia will work together for the very first time in "Unbreak My Heart," a collaboration between GMA Network, ABS-CBN, and Viu Philippines.

As seen in Cata Tibayan's report on "24 Oras," Monday, the two are both excited to be part of the romantic-drama series together with Richard Yap and Jodi Sta. Maria.

Gabbi said viewers will see a very "out of the box" version of her in the series, which will be shot in Switzerland, air on GMA, and stream in 15 territories outside the Philippines this year.

"It's my first time doing this kind of role na napaka deep and malaki siyang bagay sa growth ko bilang isang actor," Gabbi said.

"I'm really excited to accept all the challenges and the growth and the learning na makukuha ko from this project," she added.

Joshua, meanwhile, takes a lot of stock on the history-making aspect of the collaboration between the country's two biggest networks.

"Honored and grateful to be part of this historical collaboration between ABS and GMA and excited ako sobra to work with Gabbi, Miss Jodi and Sir Richard," Joshua said.

"Nandudun 'yung pressure pero matagal ko ring inantay 'yung ganitong klaseng proyekto so ibibigay ko talaga lahat," he added.

Other cast members of the series include Maey Bautista, Will Ashley, Bianca de Vera, Jeremiah Lisbo, Nikki Valdez, Gardo Versoza, Sunshine Cruz, Eula Valdes, and Laurice Guillen. It will be directed by Emmanuel Q. Palo and Dolly Dulu.
