Lexi Gonzales reveals she was preparing for 'Underage' while filming 'Running Man' in Korea
Talk about being booked and busy!
Lexi Gonzales revealed that she was actually juggling another project while filming "Running Man Philippines" in South Korea — and that is the show "Underage," which just recently started airing.
In an interview on "Updated With Nelson Canlas," the Kapuso actress said she was surprised to get the role.
"At that time we were already getting prepared to go to Korea for 'Running Man' and then sinabi nila sa akin na I have to, while I’m doing Running Man sa Korea, I have to study the script," she said. "Get ready already for 'Underage,' kasi I'll only have a few days to prepare for the show for the taping."
"So parang at that time, although I'm also excited and happy overwhelmed and surprised, hindi ko masyadong ma-feel 'yung surprised ako, na overwhelmed ako, kasi okay, kailangan work agad. I have to prepare already."
Despite this, she said that she's "really happy and grateful."
"Underage" is a reimagining of the 1980 movie by Joey Gosiengfao of the same name. Lexi plays the role of Celina, while co-stars Elijah Alejo and Hailey Mendes play Chynna and Carrie, respectively.
The show tells the story of the three sisters whose lives change after a malicious viral video involving them trends on social media.
It airs at 4:25 p.m. after "Unica Hija" on GMA Afternoon Prime. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
