'Underage' star Hailey Mendes says she rides an Angkas to work: 'Motor muna bago kotse'

Celebrities, they're just like us.

In the latest episode of the podcast “Updated with Nelson Canlas,” we found out that Hailey Mendes still rides an Angkas to make it to work on time.

The “Underage” star remembered a time when she booked a motor to head to the GMA building. The rider asked her, “’Ma'am artista po ba kayo?

The motorists would also ask her why she prefers to ride a motorcycle service when she’s already an artista, but Hailey said that it’s something she actually likes.

“Nag-e-enjoy po ako sa pag-mo-motor. I mean, 'pag nagmamadali kahit walang traffic po, pwede niyo po siyang sakyan anytime and para sa akin [mas] convenient [siya],” she said.

“Nag-e-enjoy na ako, nakakapag-ride na ako, nakapag-joyride po ako, parang ganun,” she added.

Hailey also revealed that she does not have her own car or motorcycle, and that her manager often drives her to work. However, she is also saving up for her own ride.

“Motor po muna siguro bago kotse,” she said.
