'Stranger Things' actor Finn Wolfhard reveals possible spin-off to the mega hit Netflix series

"Stranger Things" actor Finn Wolfhard appeared on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and shared there's actually going to be a spin-off of the hit Netflix series.

Prompted by host Jimmy, Finn narrated how the Duffer brothers, well, sort-of confirmed with him.

"We were on set for 'Stranger Things 4' and we were talking, joking about [a spin off] 'We'll be back in 20 years, fat and old' and I said, but if we're going to do a spin off, it should be this and that. And the Duffer brothers looked at each other and they looked at me and said 'can we talk to you?'" Finn shared.

According to the actor, the Stranger Things creators confirmed the idea and asked who told him.

"I was like, no one," Finn continued.

"They said, 'what you mean, you like just came up with it?' And I said yeah, and they were like, 'well, don't tell anyone'," he said.

No other details were given — clearly the Duffer Brothers are keeping it on the down-low at the moment.

But at least "Stranger Things Seasons 5" is on the horizon, not to mention a number of Finn's projects bubbling under. Finn was on the show to promote his directorial debut, "Hell of a Summer," which he also co-wrote, as well as his new movie, "When You Finish Saving the World," which also stars Oscar winner Julianne Moore ("Kingsman: The Golden Circle"). Jesse Eisenberg ("Zombieland") directed and wrote the movie. — LA, GMA Integrated News
