Pia Wurtzbach cheers for Celeste Cortesi: 'You got this'

Pia Wurtzbach has Celeste Cortesi's back.

Following the Miss Universe preliminaries and national costume competition, the crowned Miss Universe 2015 said in a tweet, “You got this, Celeste!!”

She also called on her followers to show their encouragement. “Let's support our queen, guys!!” Pia said.

Months before the competition, Pia already called Celeste “my sister who I’m rooting for to get that Crown.”

Rabiya Mateo, another Miss Universe candidate, is also cheering for Celeste. “5th crown na ‘to for the country,” she said in an Instagram Story.

During the Miss Universe swimsuit competition, Celeste donned a pink suit and made a statement with her cape, from her experience "visiting the youth and their families during the Save the Children Philippines outreach in Marawi."

She also wore a shimmery evening gown inspired by her father’s poem.

For the national costume competition, Celeste’s look was inspired by the Philippines’ iconic superhero Darna to symbolize kindness, empathy, and empowerment.

The 71st Miss Universe coronation is happening on January 15 (Philippine time) at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
