Ely Buendia shares some wise words about healing: 'You have to be willing to work for it'
Ely Buendia truy has a way with words.
On Instagram, the OPM legend shared some of his wise words about healing after the Eraserheads reunion concert.
He started by saying how “the real lessons,” the tough, happy, and confusing ones, reveal themselves after graduating from school.
“The best thing you can hope for is to somehow be able to grasp them in a short amount of time,” he said.
Ely said that the Eraserheads members and the team behind the "Huling El Bimbo" show are still "trying to grasp the last three months leading up to the finals."
“Sometimes it feels like there are more questions than answers. But fear not, this isn’t doubt. This is certainty,” Ely said..
Given that, Ely learned that “healing can only begin within [oneself].”
“You have to really want it, and most of the time, willing to work for it. Sometimes you have to be willing to risk everything,” he said. “And if you are, who knows? Maybe you might get lucky and you can leave this place a little better when you found it.”
Eraserheads, the legendary OPM band of Ely Buendia, Raimund Marasigan, Buddy Zabala, and Marcus Adoro, took the stage at the SMDC Festival Grounds for a one-night-only show last Thursday.
The massive show drew in an estimated crowd of more than 60,000 fans. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
