Drag Den PH's upcoming 'Filipino Fantasy' episode is a tribute to 'Encantadia,' director says
The upcoming Episode 4 of "Drag Den Philippines" on Thursday will feature the eight competing queens showcasing their best drag in representing "Filipino Fantasy."
And according to the show's director Rod Singh, GMA's original fantasy series "Encantadia" played an essential role in conceptualizing Episode 4.
“Bukod sa binuo ng ["Encantadia"] ang kabaklaan ko, ito din ang kauna-unahang TV show na naging part ako ng creatives as a brainstormer,” Rod said on Twitter Tuesday.
[Aside from the fact that 'Encantandia' helped me discover my sexual identity, it was also the first TV show in which I was part of the creative team as a brainstormer.]
The director also added that the episode would include tribute clips for "Encantadia."
Actually, may tribute kineme about Encantadia kineme this coming ep.

Aside from the Filipino Fantasy theme wear, the competing queens will also have the main challenge of a talent portion in Episode 4.
With three episodes in, the competition's tension is definitely starting to rise in "Drag Den Philippines."
In Episode 2, Drag Runner Sassa Gurl called out Aries Night for being soft-spoken, which led Aries' to open up about his traumas growing up.
In Episode 3, meanwhile, Lady Gagita and O-A confronted each other about their unsettled conflict in the past.
Earlier this month, "Drag Den Philippines," hosted by RuPaul's Drag Race alum Manila Luzon, premiered in the Philippines with a viewing party at TriNoma, where each queen had their red carpet moment.
