Joaquin Domagoso in ‘That Boy in the Dark’ wins best actor at Sweden’s Boden International Film Festival
Joaquin Domagoso is once again named Best Actor, this time at Sweden’s Boden International Film Festival.
Joaquin was recognized for his portrayal of Knight on “That Boy in the Dark,” which bagged Best Feature Film, according to the festival’s website.
Directed by Adolf Alix Jr., who also won Best Director, the film circles on Knight, who is suffering from a condition which will test his bravery to face shadows he will find in the dark.
These achievements come after Joaquin was also named Best Actor at the 16th Toronto Film and Script Awards last month.
Also starring Lotlot De Leon, Ramon Christopher, Glydel Mercado, Nanding Josef, Charo Laude, Kiko Ipapo, and Sharmaine Santiago, "That Boy in the Dark" will premiere on January 8 nationwide.
The Boden International Film Festival’s goal is to “showcase films from around the world and grant awards to the best nominees at our yearly festival.”
