Miguel Tanfelix records iconic line for 'Voltes V: Legacy'

Here’s another reason to look forward to “Voltes V: Legacy.”

In an Instagram photo from series director Mark Reyes, lead star Miguel Tanfelix can be seen in the studio.

Apparently, he was there to record one of the series’ most important lines.

“Before the pilot preview last night, @migueltanfelix_ snuck in some work to record the iconic ‘Voltes Fiiiive-vah!’ battle cry,” Direk Mark said in his caption.

Miguel plays Steve, the pilot of the Volt Cruiser, which transforms into Voltes V’s head. He is also the crew’s team leader.

Direk Mark added that this battle cry will be heard for the first time this Christmas weekend, when GMA releases the plug for the network’s 2023 slate.

“You will also catch some new @voltesvlegacy images on that plug,” he said.

“Then as tradition dictates, the much awaited #V5Lmegatrailer drops this #gmanewyearscountdown,” he added.

In a previous update, cast member Ysabel Ortega said that filming for “Voltes V: Legacy” is “near the end.”
