Boy Abunda returns to GMA Network
Boy Abunda is now back with GMA!
The King of Talk signed a contract on Thursday at GMA Network Center in Quezon City confirming his return to the Kapuso Network.
In his homecoming with GMA, Boy Abunda is eternally grateful for the trust given to him as a “presenter, social host, interviewer.”
“I will commit to working hard, to doing the best I can to be able to deliver the best entertainment [and] shows that I am going to do with GMA-7,” he said.
Among the GMA Executives present at the event were Senior Vice President for Entertainment Lilybeth Gomez-Rasonable; Vice President for GMA Entertainment Group Janine Nacar; Consultant for GMA Entertainment Group Bang Arespacochaga; First Vice President of GMA Entertainment Group Darling Bodegon; First Vice President and Head of GMA Regional TV and Synergy and acting head of GMA Integrated News Oli Amoroso; and First Vice President and Head of Operations, GMA International Joseph T. Francia.
GMA Network Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe Gozon, GMA Network President and COO Gilberto Duavit Jr., and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Felipe Yalong, meanwhile, sent messages of congratulations to Boy through Zoom.
In an interview last November, Boy said GMA was where he started his career, saying “parati kong sinasabi na doon ako natutong maglakad.”
Rumors of Boy’s return to GMA shot back up again when the Kapuso Network shared teasers about a showbiz icon having a homecoming.
