Carla Abellana stuns in latest batch of photos from her 'bare' shoot

If it isn't Carla Abellana turning up the heat on this cool December morning!

On Instagram, the Kapuso actress shared a fresh batch of photos from her very personal 'bare' shoot that happened exactly one year after getting married.

In the photos, Carla looked gorgeous — and more importantly, comfortable! — in tasteful black lingerie complete with a nice garter belt that held up her stockings. 

Carla wore her hair big and slightly messy, as she laid on an unmade bed. Unsmiling, she stared intently at the camera, as though daring those looking at her photographs.

Her photos left her friends agog at Carla's beauty. "Grabe napakaganda," Lovely Abella wrote, while Camille Prats exclaimed, "Carl! You're so gorgeous!"

Photographer Pat Dy an eventologist Tim Yap dropped multiple fire emojis.

In a recent episode of "Updated with Nelson Canlas," Carla said the photoshoot happening exactly one year after tying the knot with Tom Rodriguez was a coincidence.

On her YouTube channel where she shared some behind-the-scenes, Carla said she meant the shoot “to be dark, deep, messy, brave, and bare. It fell on October 23, 2022. Exactly a year after the day I got married. Why? Simply because it was the only day everyone was available.”

In the first batch of photographs she shared a week ago, Carla went braless underneath the white cardigan and the shawl she wore.

In her caption then, she quoted Ernest Hemingway, saying, “The world breaks everyone[,] and afterward many are strong at the broken places.” 

In October 2021, Carla and Tom tied the knot. In January, rumors of their split spread online after Tom unfollowed Carla on Instagram. Tom finally admitted to their divorce in June 2022.

After all the pain and heartbreak, it sure is beautiful to see a lovely woman like Carla rise above and celebrate herself. — LA, GMA Integrated News
