Kimson Tan to work with 'Crazy Rich Asians' food stylist in new Singaporean film

Kimson Tan is heading to Singapore next year to work on upcoming film "King of Hawkers."

According to Nelson Canlas's report on "24 Oras," Friday, the Sparkle heartthrob just signed the contract for the project, which aims to introduce Singaporean food and culture to the world.

Kimson will be training with Chef John See, the food stylist for 2018 hit movie "Crazy Rich Asians."

"For sure I'll give my best in Singapore and one month training will be so hard but it's all gonna be worth it when the film comes out," he said.

Kimson, who is currently working on "Mano Po Legacy: The Flower Sisters," is fluent in Mandarin. It is one of the requirements for the role in "King of Hawkers."

The Kapuso actor will also be working with acclaimed Singapore director Kelvin Sng, whose works include "Taxi! Taxi!," "The Fortune Handbook," and the upcoming "Don't Go Home Tonight."
