Michael V.'s 'Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw' parody is now at 8M views on Facebook

Michael V. clearly hit a high note with his stirring parody of Morisette's "Gusto ko Nang Bumitaw."

Apart from positive feedback from netizens, the video, as of Tuesday, has hit a whopping 8M views on Facebook. It also has almost 350K reactions and 13K comments. 

 According to GMA Network, the video quickly hit 3M views on Facebook in less than 24 hours.

Michael V.'s parody, called "Gusto Ko Nang Bumigay," tells the story of an elderly LGBT+ member wanting to finally come out of the closet. Celebrity drag queen Eva La Queen even took to Twitter to laud Bitoy's concept and the performance.

“The words ‘hindi naman nagpabaya. Kung gusto kong magpabaya mas madali’ hits too close to home,” Eva tweeted. 

"Thank you for this," she added.

On YouTube, the video already has nearly 800K views.

The parody capped off the successful two-part 27th anniversary special of "Bubble Gang," which also included a hit spoof of socialite Small Laude and a parody of "Running Man PH" called "Pranning Man."
