Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz's 'out-of-this-universe' connection witnessed in #JulieVerse

Overflowing passion and love encapsulated through music and dance—that's what the JulieVerse concert served the audience on Saturday at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.

Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz opened the evening with a remix of Lizzo's "About Damn Time" and then spoke to their fans, who came from different provinces and arrived carrying their special JulieVerse lightsticks.

"Kung wala kayo, wala rin ang JulieVer at wala rin tayo ngayon sa mundo ng JulieVerse kaya maraming-maraming salamat sa inyong lahat," Rayver said.

"Babalik-balikan natin 'yung lahat ng dahilan kung bakit tayo nagmamahal. Baka may daanan lang tayo na slight na masasakit pero kaunting-kaunti lang naman 'yon," Julie Anne promised fans.

Rayver jokingly replied, "Basta ako Jules, never kitang sasaktan."

JulieVer continued to fuel the kilig in the theater as Rayver granted one of Julie Anne's requests—live guitar jamming!

"Sa totoo lang guys, nakakarupok talaga kapag nakakita ka gaya ng [taong] nag-gu-guitar like Rayver," she confessed, adding how handsome the Kapuso hunk is in his outfit and guitar.

The couple also shared how their simple jamming sessions make them even more comfortable with and closer to each other.

"Ito [pagtugtog ng gitara] 'yung favorite past time namin. Nag-practice ako ng guitar, aral ako ng songs tapos tutugtugin ko sa kanya over FaceTime," Rayver said.

The actor said Julie Anne's love for the instrument inspired him to learn and he often serenades her until she falls asleep.

JulieVer then jammed with some hit love songs from Filipino band "Neocolours," whose member Niño Regalado was also last night's musical director.

The couple also performed Adie's popular love songs "Paraluman" and "Mahika," sharing how these songs reflect their relationship journey.

Also present in the stage is Kapuso love team MavLine Mavy Legaspi and Kyline Alcantara, who performed trending TikTok dance challenges: Charlie Puth's "Left and Right" and Jessi's "Zoom" with JulieVer.

Towards the end of the concert, the fans' kilig is at the maximum level as Julie Anne and Rayver reminisced their experiences together and exchanged appreciation messages.

"Ang dami na nating pinagdaanan, alam naman ng lahat iyon. Pero ang masasabi ko, ikaw at ako ay talagang pinagtagpo at itinadhana," Rayver said.

"Nandito na tayo ngayon sa harap ng mga taong nagmamahal sa atin—doing what we love the most and doing it together," Julie Anne added.

The pair also exchanged "I love yous" in front of the people who witnessed their love story unfold since day one.

Among those who attended the concert are GMA Entertainment Group Head Lilybeth Rasonable, GMA Synergy Head and GMA Integrated News Acting Head Oliver Victor Amoroso, Kapuso real-life couple Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos, and Rodjun Cruz with his wife Dianne Medina.
