Ysabel Ortega says filming for 'Voltes V: Legacy' is 'near the end'
Filming for the highly-awaited "Voltes V: Legacy" is in high gear and hurtling near the end.
This is according to series star Ysabel Ortega, who plays Jamie Robinson in the live-action adaptation of the classic anime.
"Medyo near the end na when it comes to shooting," she told GMA News Online in an exclusive interview. "It's doing really good."
After seeing the previews of show, Ysabel feels nothing but pride.
"It's purely Filipino. Lahat ng special effect, lahat ng cinematography, puro Filipinos ang gumawa, it was only the approval of Japan that was needed," she said.
"Sobrang ganda ng magiging output niya," she added.
In January, director Mark Reyes said that filming was 50% done.
Production of the show was delayed due to the pandemic.
Other actors featured in the series are Miguel Tanfelix, Radson Flores, and Matt Lozano.
