Andrea Torres reacts to comments on her portrayal of Sisa

Andrea Torres made sure to thank her supporters for the kind comments she received for her portrayal of Sisa on “Maria Clara at Ibarra.”

In a vlog titled, “BTS: Behind the Sisa,” the Kapuso star happily reacted to the feedback and reenactments she received.

She recently trended online following the episode where Sisa was tragically looking for her sons Crispin and Basilio, effectively showcasing a mother’s pain.

In her commentary, Andrea said that she is so grateful for the kind reception as she is her own worst critic.

“Ang pinaka nag-ma-matter talaga sa ‘kin sa pag-a-artista ko is 'yung pagarte ko,” she said.

She added that she checks every project she does, whether it’s a soap or guesting.

“Diyan ako hindi nakakatulog. Diyan ko pinapagalitan sarili ko [and say] ‘Bakit di mo nakuha?’” Andrea said. “Kasi minsan, feeling mo nabigay mo na 'yung talagang best mo, parang feeling mo all out ka. Pero 'pag pinanood mo, ah, na-miss ko. Di ko nakuha 'yung pano ko na-visualize.”

She added, “At pag nagawa ko naman ng tama 'yung eksena, 'yun 'yung pinaka nagpapasaya sa ‘kin, sobrang fulfilled ako. So thank you sa inyong lahat.” —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
