'Maria Clara at Ibarra’ blood moon episode to air on the same day of total lunar eclipse

The blood moon episode of “Maria Clara at Ibarra” is airing tonight.

Coincidentally, the much-awaited total lunar eclipse is also happening this evening.

During the natural phenomenon, the moon will turn red beginning 6:16 p.m. and will last for more than an hour. It will be visible throughout the country.

This is exactly what Klay (Barbie Forteza) has been waiting for to mark her return to the present, said a GMA Network Entertainment report on the upcoming “Maria Clara at Ibarra” episode.

Previously, Andrea Torres’ portrayal of Sisa's tragic scene also aired and trended on November 1, the very same day that her character showed symptoms of mental illness in “Noli Me Tangere.”

In a recent interview with Aubrey Carampel on “24 Oras,” Andrea said “hindi namin sadya."

Also starring Julie Anne San Jose, Dennis Trillo, and David Licauco, “Maria Clara at Ibarra” has been making headlines left and right for its portrayal of Jose Rizal’s novels.
