Jo Koy gets nomination for People’s Choice Awards 2022: ‘Mahal kita’

Jo Koy is one step closer to getting a People’s Choice Award!

On Instagram Sunday, the Filipino-American stand-up comic proudly announced that he was nominated for “The Comedy Act of 2022” category. 

Jo Koy was particularly recognized for his show “Live from the LA Forum,” which is a comedic set about “public sneezing, perseverance, the indignities of sleep apnea, and getting lost in the Philippines.”

“I’ve been nominated for a People’s Choice Award! Thank you to all my fans. So much love,” he wrote in the caption. “Mahal kita!” 

Joining him in the nominees are Amy Schumer, David Spade, Kevin Hart, Wanda Sykes, Chris Rock, Steve Martin and Martin Short, and Whitney Cummings.
