Juancho Triviño says he also hates his 'Maria Clara at Ibarra' character Padre Salvi
Everyone and their mother probably hate Padre Salvi of "Maria Clara at Ibarra," especially after Episode 19 on Thursday.
With his cruelty towards Crispin and Basilio, even Juancho Triviño hates his own character in the historical portal fantasy series.
The Kapuso actor discussed his role in his podcast, "One on Juancho," and addressed the distressing scene between the priest and the little boys.
"The scenes na pinalabas palang... na pinapalo namin si Crispin at si Basilio, my heart was aching inside. As in, sobra. It was extremely difficult for me," he said.

Juancho, who is a father to a baby boy, said Basilio and Crispin's small size reminds him of his son Liam.
"I haven't laid a hand on my son ever. So it was extremely difficult for me to do those actions because hindi ko alam, hindi ko kaya," he said.
"Naiinis ako na kinukuwestiyon ko 'yung sarili ko habang ginagawa ko 'yun."
Basilio and Crispin were the sons of Sisa (played by Andrea Torres). They were serving as sacristans at the San Diego church, where Padre Salvi is the parish priest.
The two were accused of stealing money and were punished, but only Basilio comes home to his mother, who loses her mind in grief.
Juancho, who has been knocking it out of the park with his performance as Padre Salvi, has taken the bashing of the fans in stride and gamely engaged fans by reacting to their reactions.
Starring Dennis Trillo, Julie Anne San Jose, and Barbie Forteza, "Maria Clara at Ibarra" airs on GMA Telebabad on weekdays after "24 Oras."
