Herlene Budol's EDSA billboard is the biggest of its kind in the Philippines
It's another dream come true for Herlene Nicole "Hipon Girl" Budol as she gets a billboard along EDSA — but it’s not just any billboard.
According to Herlene's latest Instagram post, her “dream to reality” moment is the “first biggest 3D LED billboard in the Philippines along EDSA.”
The billboard is for JAG Jeans, one of the sponsors of this year’s Binibining Pilipinas. Herlene was named the JAG Queen when she competed in the pageant.
“Thank you JAG sa once in a lifetime opportunity na pinakauna ma-feature sa 3D LED billboard,” the comedienne-turned-beauty queen said in her caption.
In the billboard, Herlene struts like a beauty queen in an all-denim outfit and a blue long gown before waving to passing cars. The words “denim queen” then appeared on the screen.
Aside from her seven special awards, Herlene was the Binibining Pilipinas first runner-up.
She is set to compete in Miss Planet International, with the coronation set for November 19 in Kampala, Uganda. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA News
