Sisa's home in 'Maria Clara at Ibarra' created by production design team from scratch
Sisa's home in "Maria Clara at Ibarra" made an appearance on Wednesday's episode of the historical portal fantasy series.
It's a bahay kubo, and apparently, the production design team made it from scratch themselves!
In a report on GMA Entertainment, production designer Bill Gustilo said they used old photos of the bahay kudo as references.
Netizens were amazed by the attention to detail in the series, which begins in the modern world as it follows Gen Z nursing student Klay.

When she gets transported into the world of "Noli Me Tangere" and "El Filibusterismo," she meets Ibarra and Maria Clara, as well as Sisa and her sons Crispin and Basilio.
