Is CoLove returning on Jennylyn Mercado's YouTube channel any time soon? Dennis Trillo answers

CoLove is one of the most successful video series on Jennylyn Mercado's YouTube channel.

With Dennis Trillo on the drums, their voices blending in harmony, and their talented band adding flair to their performances, their song covers have fetched millions of views from fans.

The series even led to a successful Valentine concert held just before the pandemic, with DenJen making everyone kilig with their setlist.

Now that the Kapuso couple have gotten married and welcomed their first child together, however, CoLove has been on hiatus for a year.

Will the series be returning any time soon? Dennis answered this question in the latest episode of "Updated With Nelson Canlas" podcast.

"Naku 'yon na nga hindi ko pa alam kasi hindi ko alam kung kailan kami magkakaroon ng time para doon," said the actor, who is in Ilocos for the taping of "Maria Clara at Ibarra."

("I don't know yet because I'm not sure when we will have the time for it.")

Jennylyn and Baby Dylan are also with him so they can spend time as a family while he is working.

According to Dennis, he is enjoying his time as a hands-on dad to his unica hija, changing her diapers and bottle-feeding her once he gets back from work.

"Ngayon sobrang naaaliw kami na nag-aalaga, nakikipaglaro sa bata, so hindi ko alam kung kailan [babalik] pero hindi naman 'yan mawawala," he said about CoLove.

"Phase lang 'to dahil abala kami sa pagpapalaki ng baby pero soon. Darating ang panahon, oo babalik din 'yan," he added.

("Right now we are happy taking care of our baby and playing with her, so I'm not sure when but it's not going away. This is just a phase because we are busy raising our baby but soon. The time will come, it will be back.")

Jennylyn has also taken a break from showbiz due to her pregnancy and birth, but in the same podcast, she said she will return to work early next year.

Dennis and Jennylyn announced that they were engaged and expecting a baby in October last year. They tied the knot two weeks later and welcomed Baby Dylan in April.
