'The Atom Araullo Specials: Munting Bisig' bags best Asian documentary at Asia Contents Awards

"The Atom Araullo Specials: Munting Bisig" episode of GMA News and Public Affairs bagged the Best Asian Documentary award at the 4th Asia Contents Awards (ACA).

According to a "24 Oras" report Monday, the announcement was made at the Busan International Film Festival Theater in South Korea last Saturday.

The "Munting Bisig" episode features children who work tirelessly amid the COVID-19 pandemic. It was first shown on GMA-7 last year.

It competed against "Interview with a North Korean Spy," "Indian Predator:The Butcher Delhi," and "One Day of Japanese Host Club."

Established in 2019, the ACA awards "outstanding TV, OTT, and online content across Asia."
