Ruru Madrid on 'Lolong' finale: 'This is not yet a goodbye'

"Lolong" just aired its final episode, but there might be reason to hope it's not yet the end.

“I've been through many challenges in my life and this is one of the hardest I’ve experienced,” he said.

The Kapuso-Action Drama Prince has been open about his personal difficulties before “Lolong,” to the point that he even thought about quitting showbiz.

“Naalala ko yung time na I doubted myself dahil akala ko hindi na matutuloy itong show. I was about to give [up] but [‘Lolong’] happened,” Ruru said.

“I trusted God's perfect timing and it was all worth the wait. May mga bagay na hindi mo dapat madaliin dahil pag nakuha mo, hinding-hindi mo ito ittake for granted,” he added.

Ruru thanked all of the show’s supporters for joining him and the team on this journey.

But then he teased fans, “It’s been the most beautiful experience but this is not yet a goodbye."
