Ruru Madrid reveals pikunan, silent treatment on 'Running Man PH'
There’s no doubt that the cast of “Running Man PH” are all so competitive, but apparently, some games got so intense to the point of pikunan and giving each other the silent treatment.
In his interview on “Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel,” Ruru Madrid revealed that, “Minsan umaabot sa point na nagkakapikunan kami lahat,” and it’s not just for the show.
The “Lolong” actor even admitted that he gave his co-Runners the silent treatment.
“Guilty ako diyan, kasi syempre minsan hindi maiwasan dahil very physical yung mga games namin, nagkaka-banggaan, nagkaka-pisikalan, so umaabot sa point na parang syempre ako, napipikon," he said.
And since the show was filmed in South Korea, their feelings of homesickness were also a major factor in the competitive atmosphere.
“At the same time, na-ho-homesick nga ako, dahil hindi ko nga masyado na-enjoy ang time ko with my family, gusto ko na umuwi, ganun yung pakiramdam. Pero syempre gusto ko rin mag enjoy, pero may mga ganun [pang feelings], so hindi naiiwasan nagkaka-pikunan," he said.
But despite these, Ruru said that the best part about the cast would be how they hug and talk to each other after every game.
“Ang daming beses actually na nangyari yan. Minsan mag-me-message na lang ako na ‘Sorry kung baka na-offend kita kanina,’” he added.
Ruru emphasized that although they got carried away a lot of times, the Runners’ bond just got stronger.
“Parang lahat kami sobrang naging okay. Well, kami ni Buboy, I mean Buboy is one of my best friends, so parang kami talaga yung sobrang sanggang dikit.”
