Andi Eigenmann proud of how far she's come: 'Legit living the life I've always dreamed of'
Andi Eigenmann was happy to share the first Instagram Reel of her surfing, and how taking videos for surf analysis is needed for improvement.
The Siargao-based actress showed off her skills and fun times in the ocean.
But what’s even more heartwarming is the story behind Andi’s post, wherein she shared that she is in a good mental and physical place.
“Safe to say I am now legit living the life I've always dreamed of,” she said.
“[No,] I am not talking about that ~aesthetic~ island life you see in my Instagram. It's all of it, imperfections, struggles and all,” she added.
Andi related her personal journey to the one she experiences in surfing.
“Just like in my surfing, [I'm] proud to say [I've] come a long way,” she said. “But what helps me improve is going through it (life + surfing) always wanting to learn more and figure out how to get better. Plus of course, not to forget, doing it all with a smile.”
Earlier, Andi shared that she is living the surfing dreams of her 11-year-old self.
Based in Siargao with her fiancé Philmar Alipayo, two kids, and Andi’s daughter Ellie, the Happy Islanders also own a surfing school and snack bar. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA News
